Welcome our new staff members!

At Warrendale Wagyu, our team are just as important as our cattle. That’s why we’re delighted to welcome three fantastic new members to our production team – Judith, Amanda, and Liz. Each brings a wealth of farming knowledge and hands-on experience to Warrendale Wagyu, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome them on board.

Meet Judith Hogg – Area Rep for Central Scotland

Judith has farming in her blood. After studying Agriculture at university, she threw herself into the political world, working on Land and CAP reform. A few years in agronomy gave her a different perspective before she moved into estate management, but it was while travelling in Sweden that this new challenge with Warrendale Wagyu presented itself.

Now back on home turf, Judith is excited to meet our farmers across Central Scotland and strengthen relationships within the Warrendale network.

Meet Amanda Smith – Area Rep for the South West

Amanda Smith is covering the South West with Matt Hutchings, looking after Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire and South Gloucestershire.

Amanda also comes from a farming family and has spent the last 20 years running a 3,500-acre beef enterprise. She’s also been hands-on with rearing 500 beef cattle a year – from milk calves right through to finishing – and in recent years that included Wagyu.

Her experience with Wagyu cattle was a turning point. Amanda found them to be resilient, easy to manage, and a consistent contributor to the farm’s profitability. That success sparked her passion for the breed and encouraged her to leap into a career promoting Wagyu.

Meet Liz Hogarth – Area Rep for the North West

Liz grew up on a dairy and sheep farm and now lives on a dairy farm where she rears all the young stock. With many years’ experience in the beef supply chain, she’s developed a real niche for calf rearing – her true passion and area of expertise. Alongside her farming background, she’s also qualified in safeguarding and supporting exploited children, giving her a unique perspective on resilience and care.

At Warrendale, Liz will be working with farmers across the North West, supporting them with her specialist knowledge and enthusiasm for raising healthy, thriving cattle.

A Stronger Future Together

Judith, Amanda, and Liz bring fresh energy, deep expertise, and a genuine passion for cattle to the Warrendale team. They’ll be working closely with our farmers to ensure our farmers and the Wagyu breed continue to thrive, while helping new partners discover the benefits of working with us.

Please join us in giving them a warm welcome – we can’t wait to see the impact they’ll have on our growing Warrendale Wagyu team.
