Our Partners

Genus
Genus provides semen distribution out to our producer farms, with Warrendale Wagyu chosen genetics. Genus are also involved at the end of our supply chain, with DNA testing and sire verification data collection. Through this we can analyse the animals daily live weight gain, marble score, meat tenderness and eating quality. We are a fully verified integrated beef scheme, which allows us to trace back each animal to its sire.

WBA (Wagyu Breeders Association)
We are members of the WBA, believing it is important that we maintain a healthy Breed Society within the UK. We have implemented a commercial and pedigree membership to our farmer partners. At Warrendale we have introduced standards that can be recognised by the stamp on every retail pack, with the aim to gain global recognition for the quality of British Wagyu.

Caisley Tags
Warrendale Wagyu have a long-standing relationship with Caisley tags. We believe they offer a quality product that matches ours and has been developed with farmers in mind. Caisley provide durable and easy to apply DNA/BVD tissue sampling tags which are a mandatory requirement of our scheme.

Oxbury Bank
Warrendale Wagyu is now working in partnership with Oxbury Bank, which gives farmers the opportunities to grow their business without having all their capital tied up in the purchase of the cattle. Finance is available through the Warrendale Oxbury partnership to assist partners across the farm supply chain.

Dovecote Park
For over 3 years, we have worked with Dovecote Park, one of the UK’s leading privately owned beef processors. We do everything we can to ensure high animal welfare, so having a processing partner with the same values is essential.

CIEL (Centre for Innovation Excellence in Livestock)
We have recently partnered with CIEL, who are the UK’s livestock innovation centre and probably the greatest livestock research alliance in the world! They help to bring new technologies and processes to livestock food production. Being a member of CIEL gives us access to other potential partners within the industry, alongside guidance on applications for grant funding towards trials within our system.

MIJ (Meat Imaging Japan)
We have partnered with Meat Imaging Japan, to standardise grading of Wagyu within the abattoir. This globally recognised system is a first for the meat industry in the UK. The system measures marble score and meat quality, moving away from traditional grading.
