Cumbria Farmer Awards
Joanne Hall is a third generation farmer on their farm, Inglewood Edge based near Carlisle in Cumbria. Before settling back in Cumbria, she travelled and gain valuable experience in New Zealand, as well as studying at Newton Rigg College. Back at home, she now runs a very successful beef and sheep enterprise. Coincidentally Joanne is one of our Wagyu farmer partners, with around 330 Wagyu cattle on the ground. She also is a director at the Penrith Market.

Katrina Little (Production Manager) "The awards evening was a great way to celebrate our industry and the importance of what we all do. Joanne Hall was a definite winner in my eyes, not just because she is one of our Wagyu farmer partners but because she has achieved so much in her farming time and is recognised for her expert input throughout the industry. I am proud to have been able to present Joanne with the prize and that as a company we were able to sponsor it. It was such a fantastic evening, with great company and hospitality. A massive thankyou to Newsquest Cumbria and Armstrong Watson for putting on such a great evening!"
