Warrendale Wagyu appoints Nick Davies as Wagyu Chief Operating Officer
Nick Davies has been appointed as Wagyu Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Warrendale Wagyu, joining the business on 5 October.
Bringing more than 20 years of leadership experience across the UK food and agriculture sectors, Nick leaves his position as Group Agricultural Director at 2 Sisters Food Group in September. Prior to that, Nick has held senior positions with organisations including Karro Food Group, AB Sustain, The Co-operative and Dunbia. Most recently, he has built a reputation for leading agricultural strategy and transformation programmes within the poultry sector, delivering improvements in animal welfare, sustainability, supply chain performance and commercial growth.
Throughout his career, Nick has established a strong reputation for driving operational excellence across livestock supply chains and developing long-term relationships with farmers, customers and industry partners.
In his new role as Wagyu Chief Operating Officer, Nick will lead the day-to-day cattle supply chain operations, with responsibility for ensuring the continued delivery of the highest operational standards. His remit will include leading and developing the production team, driving operational performance and continuous improvement, strengthening farmer partnerships, maintaining and enhancing industry-leading animal welfare standards, overseeing quality, compliance and sustainability, and working alongside the senior leadership team to support the business’s long-term strategic growth.
