Aldi launch Wagyu Christmas ad

During October, Aldi launched their festive range, with Wagyu being at the centre of their festive beef offering. The TV spot is being shown during prime slots and tempts the audience to enjoy the new range of Wagyu, which is all thanks to Warrendale Wagyu’s farmers. It features sirloin and ribeye steaks, as well as serving suggestions for the festive period.

Aldi also make the most of their gold medal status in the World Steak Challenge as part of their ad, to further entice customers.

The ad emphasises the selling points of Wagyu, as well as the provenance: ‘The marbling gives it an intense buttery flavour and it’s all from British farms”. It also suggests that consumers can go ‘all fancy’ for Christmas by choosing Wagyu from their Specially Selected range. See the Aldi product range here.

Aldi launched the festive campaign with advertorials in the press including in the Sun, highlighting top-notch options for cost-conscious buyers.
